Amazing concerts this weekend!

This weekend, there are 2 orchestras performing that have very affordable student pricing. In an effort to help you reach your concert attendance requirement, I will accept both of these concerts for the concert attendance:

1. http://psso.org/concerts-tickets/2012-2013-schedule
This concert will feature a Haydn symphony, a zippy Ravel work, and the mammoth 5th Symphony of Shostakovich. If you buy tickets online it is only $5 for students, at the door it is $6.
The concert will take place Saturday night (the 17th) at 7:30PM at Townhall downtown (check out this link for directions: http://townhallseattle.org/directions/)

2. http://philharmonianw.org/
This concert features a world premier (you will be the first audience to see the piece!), a clarinet concerto (remember the day I brought a clarinet to class?), and selections from Smetana's Ma Vlast (programmatic music at its finest!). Student tickets are $12 online (http://www.philharmonianw.org/?page_id=161) or $12 at the door (I believe... the website didn't say what it would cost at the door, though). The concert will take place at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (4805 NE 45th St. Seattle, WA) at 2:30pm on Sunday (the 18th).

Happy concerting, see you in class!
